We are always happy to receive visitors
from around the world to our school. Everyone is welcome whether

PENFRIENDS |

Our students are keen to have penfriends
in different countries around the world. These can either be
sent as individual e-mails or done as a class project. We have
a lot of ideas for cultural exchanges.

We are
delighted that we have many friends around the world. We love
to share our cultural heritage and learn about new countries.
Most friends communicate with us through e-mail or regular mail.
However some come and visit us at our school. The picture to
the left is of students at CHIJ Our Lady of Good Counsel School
in Singapore together with some of our own students. They were
in Thailand for four days and managed to find time to visit us.
The following report comes from their school magazine: "The
highlight of the trip was a cultural exchange visit to a local
school, Sriwittayapaknam School. Our students interacted with
the Thai students thus gaining an insight into the educational
system in Thailand. Students of both schools participated in
a song-and-dance session and in friendly games organised by the
school. Both our teachers and students were greatly overwhelmed
by the friendliness and warm hospitality of our hosts. The school
visit was a thoroughly enriching experience for all of us."
