Once the prayers and students vows had been spoken, Principal Mrs. Seesagoon Krishanachinda, gave a short speech to the students about the symbolic purpose of this ceremony.

The students then came forward in rows to present their flowers to the teachers.

At the completion there were over a thousand bunches of flowers! None of this was wasted as the incense sticks and candles were removed to be donated to local temples.
