During July 2000, we welcomed 6 university students from Singapore. They had just completed an epic trip by kayak from Singapore to Thailand taking 46 days and covering 2000 kms. They did this to raise funds for a disabled school. [Click here to visit their website.] In the picture above, two members of the expedition team are assembling the kayak to show our students.

When the team first arrived at our school, we put on a display of traditional Thai dancing and then invited them to join in. Then our students took them on a guided tour of the school.

In the playground they played some competitive games with our students and then we took them to visit the Erawan Elephant Museum. This is the largest elelphant structure in the world at over 50 metres.
