Scouting at School

Thai Scouting is unique in that it is part of the school curriculum. All of the students, both boys and girls, are Scouts and the teachers are leaders. For our school, Thursday is Scout Day. On that day, the students comes to school dressed in their Scout uniform. Inspection is held during morning assebly and then during Period 6, the students have their Scout lesson. This is either held in the classroom when they are doing work from their text book or in the playground/gym where they can do practical work. The lessons are popular with the students as they are fun and they can learn some practical skills. The senior students have a camp every year.
