Two students from Primary 2 encourage their friends to speak English on Mondays.

GRACE: Hi, my name is Grace and this is my friend Tip. How are you today Tip?
TIP: I am OK thanks. How about you?
GRACE: I'm OK too. Today we are going to talk about food. What's your favourite food?

STUDENT 01: I like pizza

STUDENT 02: I like French fries


GRACE: What's your favourite food, Tip?
TIP: My favourite food is pizza
GRACE: Do you like to eat rabbits?
TIP: Noooo! I like to play with rabbit. I don't want to eat rabbit.
GRACE: Next, let's go and meet some students talking with Teacher Alyssa.

ALYSSA: This week we are going to talk about food. OJ, what food do you like?

OJ: I like French Fries.

ALYSSA: OK, and Mai, what food do you like?

MAI: I like mango.

ALYSSA: OK, OJ, do you like pizza?

OJ: Yes

ALYSSA: Do you like spaghetti?

OJ: Yes

ALYSSA: Do you like snails?

OJ: No

ALYSSA: Mai, do you like snails?

MAI: No

ALYSSA: Do you like pizza?

MAI: Yes

ALYSSA: And what about bananas? Do you like bananas?

MAI: No

ALYSSA: Alright, very good. Thank you.


TIP: They are very clever aren't they?
GRACE: Yes. Next, let's go to the snack shop.

GRACE: This is the snack shop. Students come here during the break time if they are hungry. There are different kinds of snacks such as, French Fries, bananas, mama, ice cream, hot dogs, fried chicken, green mango and fruit juice. The students then go and pay for their snacks.

GRACE: It's making me hungry. Next, let's go and see what we have for lunch today.

GRACE: It is lunch time. I am going with my friends to get some food. First we get some rice and then some chicken. We then go back to our classroom to eat our lunch. I am eating with my friends. I am eating with a spoon and fork. My lunch today is very delicious.

GRACE: That's all for now. Don't forget to speak English on Monday.
