 เนื่องในงานการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมประเพณี วีถีชุมชน ส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิต และการท่องเที่ยว ที่จัดขึ้นโดยชมรมกำนันผู้ใหญ่บ้านอำเภอพระสมุทรเจดีย์ ทางชมรมได้เชิญผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัด นายสุรชัย ขันอาสา มาเป็นเกียรติในการเปิดงาน โดยได้ส่งขบวนเรือแฟนซีของตำบลและส่วนราชการต่างๆ ไปรอรับท่านผู้ว่าฯ ณ ท่าน้ำหน้าศาลากลางจังหวัด
 On the fourth day of the Temple Fair, boat races and other activities were organized at the waterfront next to Phra Samut Chedi. The Governor of Samut Prakan was invited to the event. The District Chief sent a flotilla of boats to pick him up at the pier at City Hall Plaza and bring him to Phra Samut Chedi. On the boats were local people including a likay troupe, Chinese dragon performers and school children in traditional Thai dance costumes.
