During the summer holidays, teachers from our school went on a trip to Malaysia and visit Dato'Onn Secondary school in Penang. คณะครูโรงเรียนศรีวิทยาปากน้ำจำนวน 70 คน ทัศนศึกษาและดูงานการศึกษาที่ประเทศมาเลเซีย วันที่ 4-9 พฤษภาคม 2552 วันที่ 8 พ.ค. 2552 คณะครูได้มีโอกาสเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาดาโต๊ะ ออน ซึ่งเป็นโรงเรียนที่ดีที่สุดและมีชื่อเสียงของรัฐปีนัง ผู้อำนวยการเขตการศึกษาของปีนัง ครูใหญ่ร.ร. ดาโต๊ะ ออน และนักเรียน ได้ให้เกียรติมาต้อนรับคณะครูของเรา มีการแสดงพื้นเมืองของนักเรียนให้ชม คณะนักเรียนพาชมสถานที่ต่างๆและการเรียนการสอน หลังจากนั้นได้เลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันซึ่งเป็นอาหารพื้นเมืองที่อร่อยมากด้วย
