| We have put together a selection of photographs showing some of the local people. These pictures were taken for us by Mandy Barrow, a teacher from England who stayed at our school for a while. | ||

| Behind our school there is a shanty town area with houses made from wood and roofed with corrugated iron. The little boy in the third picture is standing alongside a klong jar; these are used to collect and store drinking water during the monsoon season. | ||

| These last few pictures show some of the local men relaxing, drinking beer and playing draughts. The last picture shows the smiling face of one of the samlor drivers (three-wheeled bicycle taxi) that seems to spend a lot of time outside our school. | ||
