Samlor (307 KB)
This 9 second clip shows 2 students arriving at school with their mother in a samlor. A samlor is a three-wheeled local taxi which is very cheap to use. On the loudspeaker, you can hear another teacher calling the names of students. This is telling them that there is someone here to pick them up.

Chanting during Assembly (497 KB)

We have to appease them with a beautiful house of their own and daily offerings of food and drink. If we don't, they might cause mischief in the school. The Brahman Shrine, the Hindu diety with four faces, is a common sight in Thailand. It is nothing to do with Buddhism, but students and teachers might make a wish at the shrine for good luck.
