On Friday morning, Mattayom 3 students went to the Samut Prakan Provincial court to take part in activities to mark Rapee Day. Two of our students took part in a competition about Thai law. Others went to watch a courtroom demonstration.

This month for the first time the students at the school are using a kind of cashcard instead of using chips to pay for their food. It uses RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification). In Thailand, t is commonly known as Smart ID Card.
โรงเรียนเริ่มใช้บัตรสมาร์ทการ์ด (Smart ID card) แทนเงินสดภายในโรงเรียนแทนการแลกชิพ เป็นครั้งแรกซึ่งใช้เป็นบัตรประจำตัวนักเรียนและสามารถใช้ซื้อของได้ด้วย ลักษณะของบัตรใช้ระบบ RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) ซึ่งในปัจจุบันมีลักษณะเป็นป้ายอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (RFID Tag) ที่สามารถอ่านค่าได้โดยผ่านคลื่นวิทยุจากระยะห่าง เพื่อตรวจ ติดตามและบันทึกข้อมูลที่ติดอยู่กับป้ายและนำไปฝังไว้ในหรือติดอยู่กับวัตถุต่างๆ เช่นในบัตสมาร์ทการ์ดของนักเรียน
To add money to their Smart ID Card the students have to go to the stationary shop on the ground floor.
นักเรียนเติมเงินในบัตรและเช็คยอดเงินคงเหลือได้ที่บริเวณอาคาร 3 ชั้น 1
They then place their ID cards on a special reader and the cashier will add the money to their smartcard.
นักเรียนวางบัตรลงบนแป้นที่อ่านบัตร เจ้าหน้าที่จะทำการเติมเงินลงในบัตรสมาร์ทการ์ด
The students can then use their Smart ID Cards to buy food in the snackshop.
นักเรียนเข้าแถวจ่ายเงินซื้ออาหารว่างในเวลาพักน้อยช่วงเช้าและบ่าย
All they have to do is place their ID card onto a special reader.
เวลาจ่ายเงินจะใช้บัตรสมาร์ทการ์ดวางลงบนแป้นอ่านบัตรเพื่อบันทึกการใช้เงิน
Near the stationary shop, there is a place where the students can check to see how much money is left on their cashcard.
นักเรียนสามารถตรวจสอบยอดเงินในบัตรได้จากเครื่องที่ติดไว้ใกล้ร้านเครื่องเขียน

Students from Primary 3/1 can be seen here making Mother's Day cards. On 12th August it is H.M. The Queen's birthday. As Her Majesty is regarded as mother to all Thais, that day is also celebrated as Mother's Day. There will be a cermeony for the Queen at the school on Wednesday 11th August.
นักเรียนชั้นป.3/1 กำลังทำการ์ดวันแม่เพื่อมอบให้แม่เนื่องในงานวันแม่แห่งชาติ โรงเรียนจะทำพิธีถวายพระพรเนื่องในวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ และจัดงานวันแม่แห่งชาติด้วย ในวันพุธที่ 11 สิงหาคม โรงเรียนหยุด 4 วัน ตั้งแต่วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 12 ถึง 15 สิงหาคม (งดเรียนกิจกรรมวันเสาร์) เปิดเรียนวันจันทร์ที่ 16 สิงหาคม 2553
สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระราชทานคำขวัญเนื่องในโอกาสวันแม่แห่งชาติ ซึ่งมีใจความสำคัญดังนี้
"แผ่นดินนี้ แม่ของลูก ใช้ปลูกข้าว กี่แสนก้าว ที่เดินซ้ำ ย่ำหว่านไถ บำรุงดิน จนอุดม สมดังใจ หวังนาไทย เป็นของไทย ไปนิรันดร์"

Mattayom students this afternoon attended a seminar about anti-smoking and other narcotics.
สำนักงานป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติด (ป.ป.ส.) ร่วมกับกรุงเทพการบัญชีวิทยาลัย จัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการให้กับลูกเสือ-เนตรนารีชั้นม.1-3 เรื่อง " การป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด" โดยคณะอาจารย์จากกรุงเทพการบัญชีวิทยาลัยเป็นผู้ให้การอบรมเกี่ยวกับความรู้และกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับยาเสพติด รวมถึงการป้องกันตนเองให้พ้นภัยยาเสพติดด้วย

Students from Primary 5/2 have been making miniature motorcycles recently in their handicraft lesson. They did this by using only bottle tops and cotton thread.

The students and teachers are now back after the long holiday weekend for Khao Phansa. This festival marks the start of the Buddhist Rains Retreat that lasts for three months until 23rd October. Many students took the opportunity to go to other provinces with their parents. Others stayed here in Samut Prakan where there were many parades and activities for Khao Phansa. All of these pictures were taken here over the last four days. The next long holiday weekend is for the Queen's Birthday 12th-15th August 2010.
หลัง จากครูและนักเรียนได้หยุด 4 วัน เนื่องในวันอาสาฬหบูชาและเข้าพรรษา เพื่อไปทำบุญตักบาตร เวียนเทียน และร่วมในพิธีแห่เทียนพรรษาจำนำพรรษาของจังหวัดและที่เมืองโบราณซึ่งจัดริ้ว ขบวนอย่างสวยงามดังรูปภาพ วันหยุดยาวที่จะมาถึงอีกครั้งหนึ่งจะเป็นวันเฉลิม พระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์พระบรมราชินีนาถ 12 สิงหาคม โรงเรียนจะหยุดตั้งแต่วันที่ 12 - 15 สิงหาคม 2553
