When people first come to Thailand, they are sometimes surprised how modern Bangkok looks and how familiar many of the roadside views are. We have the same cars, buses and even beggars that you find in Western cities. Though, we probably have one of the worst traffic jams in the world.

Markets around the world are much the same. The only difference being the products on sale. As Thailand is an exotic country near the tropics, we have an abundance of fresh fruit year round.

There are many different kinds of shops in Thailand. Ranging from air-conditioned shopping malls with car-parking space for more than 6000 cars to road-side noodle shops where you eat at tables set up on the sidewalk.

Art Work by Primary 5 and 6 students at Sriwittayapaknam School.
